Tessa and Dylan's Beacon Hill + Boston Public Garden Couples Photoshoot

When Tessa and I met in one of the photography Facebook groups, I knew instantly we were going to be friends. When she said her husband Dylan was a little camera-shy, despite her profession as a photographer, I knew he and my husband would get along great. Have I mentioned my husband is a photographer as well and often my second-shooter? And yet, he is painfully shy when you put him in front of a camera, in public.

The two wanted to do a fun Spring photo shoot that started in the blossoming Boston Public Garden, taking in the Swan Boats and all the city park has to offer in the way of quiet strolls along the water, bridge-side cuddles, and sneaky kisses under the trees. From there, we moved over to charming Beacon Hill, for the cobblestone streets and adorable Brownstones.

After a rainy morning, we ended up having one of those perfect overcast days. Honestly, give me an overcast day over bright sun any day, because it gives all the moodiness! It was fun getting to run around the city with these two, who were down for just about anything. (Scroll down to see more about that!)

Favorite shot?

gah, why do I task myself with such an impossible ask?! But for me, I think it has to be this one. It was early on in the shoot, and I just love how old Hollywood cinematic it feels. Truly a timeless moment captured by the camera.
